Hospital Shower FAQs

Where to buy shower panels

Here at Commercial Washrooms we sell a range of shower panels at competitive prices to suit your business’s needs including pre-plumbed shower panels such as our RADA PA-V8F Thermostatic Hospital Shower Panel.

How to clean shower panels

It’s important to keep your shower area clean, especially if you have hospital showers where patients may be more at risk if they come into contact with harmful bacteria. There are many non-abrasive cleaning products out there which can be used on a thermostatic shower panel and you’ll simply have to use this as well as water and a soft cloth to wipe the surface clean.

Do hospitals have showers for patients?

Yes most hospitals will have showers for patients so that they can maintain good hygiene whilst in their care. Our RADA PA-V8F Thermostatic Hospital Shower Panel is ideal for hospital showers as it is designed to be easily used and features a TMV3 approved mixing valve which ensures users can operate the shower at a safe temperature.

What are shower panels made of?

Shower panels are made from waterproof, durable materials such as stainless steel, polished chrome, plastic or a polyester resin-bonded material. This prevents the shower panel from rusting and helps it to stand the test of time.

What are the benefits of a thermostatic shower panel?

Having a thermostatic shower panel in a hospital shower has many benefits, including:

  • It’s safer - a thermostatic mixer will maintain the same water temperature, preventing vulnerable users from scalding themselves or becoming too cold.

  • They can be more eco friendly and energy efficient which both saves water and money.

  • They’re convenient and easy to use, making them suitable for all, including the elderly and those with mobility issues.
