All You Need To Know About Tanking

The OTL Linear Tanking Kit has been specifically developed to eliminate leakages in tiled wet room floor areas and can be applied to a range of surfaces, including; Wood, Plasterboard, MDF, Concrete and screeds and most other commonly used construction boards.
The complete wet room floor area must be tanked including the bottom of the walls, turning up from the floor by a minimum of 100mm.

Once applied, the tanking is able to cope with structural movement in the floor and won't become brittle with age. It can also be used with all types of underfloor heating.

The Linear Tanking Kit covers up to 8m2 and contains the following:

  • 8kg compound
  • 1-litre primer
  • 10m tanking tape
  • 1x linear tanking mat
