Healthcare and Hospital IPS Units
The ever-increasing demand for enhanced infection control in hospitals, doctors' surgeries and other healthcare environments means specifying taps, basins and plumbing products that meet the rigorous healthcare regulations.
The Commercial Washrooms range of Integrated Panel Systems (IPS) has been designed to comply with medical regulations such as HBN 00-10, which stipulate that plumbing for wash hand basins should be concealed within water-impervious boxing.
We have medical IPS panel options to suit all budgets and sizes. The systems can include hinged and lockable access panels for easy maintenance access and are manufactured from solid-grade laminate (SGL) or Whiterock hygienic wall cladding.
We offer a choice of medical basins from either Armitage Shanks, Twyford or Rak. The most common basin specifications include the Armitage Shanks Contour 21+ S0430HY basin.
Our range of medical taps, included with the IPS, is extensive and includes options from leading manufacturers such as Armitage Shanks, Rada, Delabie and Bristan. Choose from lever or sensor-operated versions, all fully compliant with the latest healthcare regulations. The most common tap specification is the Armitage Shanks Markwik 21+ Panel-Mounted Thermostatic Basin Mixer Tap A6682AA.
In addition to standard wash basin-mounted healthcare IPS units, our range includes options with scrub-up troughs, hospital disposal units, plaster sinks, and slop hoppers.
We also offer our blank medical IPS units, with a bespoke combination of basins, wash troughs and taps that can be added to satisfy a dedicated specification. These units accept most medical troughs, basins, and taps listed on the Commercial Washrooms website.
