Modesty Screen FAQs

What are the benefits of having a modesty screen in your washroom?

  • They are suitable for urinals, toilets and showers - here at Commercial Washrooms, we have a modesty screen suitable for several areas which could require privacy.

Which modesty screen panel material do I need?

We have a range of modesty screen panel options available, including Melamine Faced Chipboard (MFC), High Pressure Laminate (HPL) and Solid Grade Laminate (SGL). If you’re not sure which material is best for your washroom, consider the following:

  • Are you looking for washroom modesty screens in a wet or dry area? If you require a waterproof modesty screen, SGL or glass are the only suitable options.

  • What style is your washroom? Think about your washroom’s theme, style and who it is designed to be used by. For instance, if you need modesty screens for a school, you may be interested in a colourful modesty screen to brighten up your facilities.

  • What is your budget? Your budget will likely influence your choice of paneling for your modesty screen. For example, MFC is a great option for those on a smaller budget whilst HPL can be a more expensive material but is more durable.

Where would I need a modesty screen?

Modesty screens and dividers are commonly used to protect the privacy of users for showers, urinals, toilets and changing room areas. Whether your business is a school, office, gym or restaurant, having a separator between showers or sanitaryware can give users a more comfortable experience in your washroom.
