How to change a tap
How you change a washroom tap will depend on the type of commercial taps you have and whether they are deck-mounted or wall-mounted. Here are the basic steps involved in changing commercial taps:

Turn off the water supply and drain out any remaining water in the system.

Remove the existing taps, ensuring they are detached from the pipework - the tools required will vary across tap types, so it is best to refer to your installation guide for your taps.

Install the new taps - again, this will vary for different models of taps, but this is typically done by passing the mains connection ends through the location hole and fitting any seals, washers, studs and gaskets. The taps will then be reconnected to the mains water supply.

What are deck mounted taps?
