Summary

This unique Dart Valley Systems stainless steel deck mounted vandal resistant sensor tap is ideal for use in high security and vandal prone washrooms such as prisons, hospitals, train stations, and other public toilet areas.

The tap head is mounted directly on a vanity top or basin surface with plumbing and cables installed below the vanity top or basin surface. The anti-ligature shape makes this an ideal option in mental health settings, or similar.

5 sizes are available, depending on the deck or basin space available: 70mm (standard), 35mm 40mm, 55mm or 69mm. The 70mm version is available in a choice of polished or brushed stainless steel, while the others are only available in brushed.

It is recommended that an inline flow restrictor is fitted after the solenoid valve.

This tap is installed with a separate sensor or tactile push button controlling the timed flow. When a user puts their hand within range of the sensor, or tactile button, the infra-red detector activates the solenoid valve, causing it to open and an arc of water to flow into the basin. The valve remains open while the user’s hands are being washed but shuts off after the pre-determined flow time.

Price displayed is for spout only. Additional costs will vary depending on the customer’s facility requirements. The control box is powered by a mains electrical kit which can be purchased to suit either 1 or 2 stations (taps must be adjacent to each other).

Various settings can be customised quickly and easily from within the control box such as run-times and tap purges.

    Features include:

    • 2-year DVS Warranty*
    • WRAS Approved Product
    • Brushed or Polished Stainless steel
    • Extremely reliable
