Toilet Cubicles: What is the Right Material for me?
With so many possible options the world of Toilet Cubicles can seem daunting; which material should you use? which colours will work best? and above much else: can lead times be achieved?
At Commercial Washrooms we offer our Toilet Cubicles in 3 different materials:
Each with its own merits and application, below, we explore each of these:
MFC: Budget Friendly
The melamine faced chipboard toilet cubicle ranges are popular as an entry point range, but only suitable for dry environments. If there is likely to be any prolonged exposure to moisture, it is worth steering clear, but otherwise, these are a fantastic choice, and always win where budget is king.
In MFC there is a fast-delivery option for instances where time is short, or a temporary option is required. The Contractor Toilet Cubicles won’t suit everyone, but they come in a number of popular colours and are available in a 7-10 working day turn around.
SGL: Tough As Nails
Solid Grade Laminate is the only choice for wet environments. Laminate to its core means Toilet Cubicles in this range are completely resistant to water. This is the only range available for shower cubicles, and very often the best choice in high abuse environments as it can take a beating.
We stock a number of Toilet Cubicle ranges in SGL, however, unlike MFC these are available in almost any colour as a part of the Polyrey and Formica washroom charts; allowing you to have a truly unique Washroom. The Ultra-Fast SGL Toilet Cubicle range is one of our most popular; allowing customers to have a waterproof and functional Toilet Cubicle System on site within 3-5 working days.
HPL: Executive Reality
High-Pressure Laminate is usually priced at the top end of the Toilet Cubicle budget and it is due to the labour intensity of the material. HPL is the only material with which you can achieve the rounded edges you see on ranges such as our Colossal Toilet Cubicles. Because of this, it achieves a much more up-market and uniform appearance which looks particularly effective in office suites and executive spaces.
HPL is something to chose early in a project it is exclusively available as a bespoke range at 20-25 working days - however, it is available in any colour.
